Client Overview:

A premium manufacturer car seat–stroller brand that sells strollers, tricycles, and parenting accessories. Their strollers are priced at around $500 and sold worldwide.

Challenge:

In 2018, the client was selling in 50 countries through distributors, with the majority of U.S. sales happening online. As their U.S. distribution contract was expiring, they needed to transition to direct-to-consumer (D2C) sales while maintaining strong relationships with retailers. Also, we needed to work around clock to have the website ready by year-end.

Solution

We urged the management team to secure additional stroller inventory, knowing demand would spike during the Black Friday/Cyber Monday (BFCM) period. Initially, only a limited number of strollers were available, but we sourced additional units globally to meet anticipated demand.

Annual planning Structured a calendar for promotions and holiday sales.

Results

Black Friday: Reached significant sales, completely depleting stock over the weekend.

Year-end sales: Grew their online sales by over 10X by the end of the year.

Long-term growth: Continued scaling to achieve double-digit growth over the next two years, maintaining a ROAS of 10.
